Anaïs Tellenne

Anaïs Tellenne was born in Paris in 1987. After training as an actress, she played at the Théâtre National de Nice, then in a series and popular comedies for the cinema. An avid writer, she also writes columns for print magazines and TV shows, and, at the request of a choreographer, adapts a fantasy novel into a classical ballet libretto.

At 22, she directed her first play and taught drama to children and teenagers. Continuing her acting career, she developed a passion for directing as a result of her frequent visits to film sets. Self-taught, she decided to move behind the camera after a serious accident while filming. During her convalescence, she wrote a short film entitled “19 juin” about George Sand, produced by Caméra Subjective and supported by the CNC, France 2 and SACEM, thanks to which she joined the VMA agency as a director. She co-wrote and co-directed with Zoran Boukherma “Le Mal Bleu” (short film produced by Insolence Productions, supported by CNC, ARTE and ADAMI). Her third short film, “Modern Jazz” premiered at the Colcoa Festival in Los Angeles.

In 2019, she worked on writing a medium-length film “Le Rêve américain”, developing a series project with the production company 3e œil and collaborated on the writing of feature films by Louise Hémon and Nicolas Leborgne. She came to Groupe Ouest to develop her first feature film, “Du grand feu ne reste que les braises” – to become “L’Homme d’argile” – starring Raphaël Thierry and Emmanuelle Devos, shot in 2022.
