Bastien Ughetto

Originally from the Alpes de Haute Provence, Bastien discovered cinema in the 90s, at his village video store and at the local cinema.

As a teenager, he began directing his family and friends in small amateur films, before joining a film school in northern Paris as an actor, where he crossed paths with Guillaume and Jérémy. François Ozon offered him his first film role in 2011 in “Dans la maison”. Alongside his acting skills, he continues to direct short films on his own until 2013, the year in which Les Parasites was formed.

Faced with the pressure exerted by a private company to monopolize a village’s water resources, a group of siblings organizes resistance. Within the family unit, the different opinions on resisting clash, until they join together in a single action that is as crazy as it is desperate.
