Damien Lecointre Nedelec

After studying film at Paris 8 University and gaining experience in production, Damien Lecointre Nedelec turned to directing and filmed Metig et Axelle en hiver in Brittany. In 2013, he was supported by Groupe Ouest for the development of his first feature film, Breizh ma bro.

Armel, in his thirties, illegally free-dives for abalone to sell on the black market. Already troubled by his wife’s pregnancy and the impending birth of their child, he suddenly finds himself up against Spanish poachers who have come to pillage his livelihood. Their presence shakes his sense of reality and pushes him to his limits in an underwater manhunt.
