Denis Rollier

Denis Rollier lives and works in the Finistère. He is a documentary film editor. In 2002, he and Nicolas Leborgne wrote and directed a short film entitled “Douche froide” (“Cold shower”). Four years later, he was one of the ten finalists in the third Estran screenplay competition.

He came to Groupe Ouest to develop “Uchuva”, his first feature-length screenplay.

Nabil and Anna are fighting to keep a form of agriculture alive which they like to call “gastronomic”. It’s a struggle that, as time goes by, leaves less and less room for the physical desire. But the arrival of Javier, a young Colombian chef, could well awaken everyone’s senses. Including those of Lucie, the couple’s only young daughter, who some find particularly unsociable… Uchuva is a tender, energetic and sensual gastronomic comedy on the theme of desire.
