Dina Duma
Dina Duma was born in Skopje, Macedonia, in 1991. She graduated Film and Television Directing in 2014 at the Faculty
of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. She has already directed several short films, among which “The Last Act” (2014) has won several awards, including a Grand Prix at the Montenegro Film Festival and “Elena” (2016) premiered at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal. “They Come from the Centre of the World” (2017) is her most recent short and the next one, “The She Story”, will go into production in July 2017. Dina was alumna at the Berlinale Talents 2016.
in 2017, she is developing her debut feature film “Sisterhooh” (then titled “Sister”), which already won the Coco Post Pitch Award at the Connecting Cottbus 2016 and a grand for scriptwriting from the Macedonian Film Agency.
