Eric Forestier

En 2007, Eric Forestier écrit et réalise son premier film “La Troisième Partie du Monde”, avec Gaspard Ulliel et Clémence Poésy. Il est co-scénariste du film “The Room” de Christian Volckman en 2019. Il participe également à l’écriture de séries TV : “The Tunnel”, “Osmosis”, “War of the Worlds”, “Braqueurs”, etc. Il débute sa collaboration avec Dominique Rocher sur “La Corde” pour ARTE.

JO et AMAL travaillent au port du Havre et luttent financièrement depuis toujours, mais encore plus depuis que leur fille est née. Ils cherchent une façon, n’importe laquelle, de s’extraire de leur condition sociale, observant notamment un trafic de containers depuis plusieurs mois : les signes, la communication entre les parties, comment ils passent sous les radars de la douane. Jo et Amal cherchent un moyen de se tirer avec le contenu du container.

Alors qu’ils s’apprêtent à passer à l’action, Jo assiste à une attaque des trafiquants dont personne ne sort vivant. L’opportunité qu’ils ont attendue s’offre enfin à eux. Prendre leur place. Reproduire les signes. Récupérer un chargement. Tout risquer pour se tirer avec son contenu face à un tueur sans pitié. Tout risquer et gagner, à la fin, la promesse d’une vie meilleure.

Ever since some guru in India started destroying her poppy seed shipments, Sera, 45, head of a drug operation in London, has been losing her grip. She sent three killers to get rid of this guru prick… unsuccessfully. After an attempt on her life, Sera must take the matter into her own hands. She flies to India and drags along Gabriel, her only son, to protect him. But the last thing aspiring writer and actual pothead Gabriel wants is to go on a “spiritual” trip to India with his crime lord Mum. When they reach an old temple in the heart of Nepal, Sera finds out that only the most worthy can meet the Guru. Just to get close to him, she and Gabriel have to go through a harrowing spiritual cleansing process. But if for Sera everything about it is just awful, for Gabriel, the long hours of meditation and deprivation feel great. Gabriel is invited in the inner circle to serve the Guru personally: for Gabriel, a profound enlightening experience; for Sera, a long awaited opportunity. Especially since she got wind that a killer has been sent after her. Now Sera must put Gabriel through the wringer: he has to kill his beloved master if he wants to save his Mum.

Matt and Kate, a young couple, move to Upstate New York, having purchased a home. While renovating, they discover a large hidden room and that a murder occurred on the property decades before. That evening, Matt learns that the killer is a “John Doe” and that he is still alive and in a psychiatric hospital. He also inadvertently discovers that the Room can grant any wish. He tells Kate and both quit their jobs with the Room providing everything they desire.
