
Lawrence Valin
Lawrence Valin made his film debut as an actor, notably in Julie Lopez Curval’s “Le Beau Monde” and Nadir Moknèche’s “Lola Pater”. He joined La Fémis, in the La Résidence program, where he directed “Little Jaffna”. In 2019, he released his medium-length film, “The Loyal Man”, a romance in the Tamil mafia of Paris between a henchman and an illegal immigrant.
At the same time, he is working with Groupe Ouest on the development of his first feature film, “Little Jaffna” (previously EELAM), an infiltration film in the Tamil gangs of Paris.

In 2008 in Paris, Michael Beaulieu, a young cop from the underworld, is assigned by the DCRI to infiltrate a Tamil independence organization, in order to bring down one of its biggest paymasters. But as he immerses himself in this community, Michael gradually comes to identify with those he must destroy.
