Petr Vaclav

A graduate of FAMU in Prague, Petr Vaclav wrote, directed and produced his first feature, “Marian” in 1996, which won the Silver Leopard at Locarno, the Procirep prize at Angers…

“Les Mondes parallèles”, his second feature, written with Marie Desplechin, was a finalist for the NHK Screenplay Award at the Sundance Film Festival. The film won the Best Czech Film of 2001 Award.
