Pierre Denoits

After studying agricultural engineering, Pierre joined ENSAV Toulouse in 2007. Between 2008 and 2016, he was one of the managers of the film publishing company Potemkine Films. Adieu Pan, his first short film, was produced by GREC in 2015. Three other shorts followed, Pastorale, La Prise de l’Elysée (Les Films du dimanche) and Punta Stella (La Chauve-souris).

Today, Pierre divides his time between carpentry and cinema. He is developing two feature films, Georges a un plan with Les Films de l’après-midi and L’Amour courtois.

Autumn in the mountains. A fox has bitten a camper. Or maybe it’s a wolf. Georges and Diane, two agents from the French Office of Biodiversity, go up to look for the animal. Georges and Diane love each other as much as they love adventure and rifle shooting. They set up base camp in a small refuge and live with Michelle, a melancholy shepherdess, and Hugues, a rough-hewn student. A mixture of tensions and desires tugs at the quartet’s heartstrings. While scouting a ravine, Georges drinks from a spring that is not on any map, despite Michelle’s warnings. The investigation soon goes off the rails.
