
Quentin Nozet
Quentin Nozet is a breton screenwriter/director. He grew up in a rural environment between the wind swept ocean at the furthest tip of the world. He studied physics and chemistry for 9 years leading to the presentation of his PhD in 2020. He returned to screenwriting and directing by joining Ecole Kourtrajmé and La Cité Européenne des Scénaristes.
His first short was screened in multiple festivals such as Brest or Uppsala and won several awards. He works in animation on different TV shows as a screenwriter and develops his own personal projects from novels to TV shows. He is currently developing his first feature film.
All his works explore, one way or another, themes of grief, growing up, rural environment and depopulation, focusing on the intimacy of the characters.

Scraps is a thriller taking place in a rural and deserted village struggling with poverty and isolation. At the heart of it, Simon (41) – a baker- runs the only remaining boulangerie waiting for someone to take over. When an outsider arrives looking for a job, it is the beginning of an fathomless spiral which will affect the whole village. This is a story of despair and violence.
