Ralitza Petrova

Ralitza Petrova is a Bulgarian filmmaker who lives and works between England, France, and Bulgaria. Her films have been well received at numerous festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, San Sebastian, and Karlovy Vary. Among the awards she has won are the UIP Prize for Best European Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival (IFF) and a nomination for the European Film Awards.

By the Grace of God, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, was distributed by the British Film Institute, Tate Modern, and the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in England.

She came to Groupe Ouest to work on her feature film Godless, which was released in 2016 and won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Festival in Switzerland.
