Frères d’arme

Filmed in Brest mainly on the docks, “Frères d’arme” (Brothers in arms) by director Sylvain Labrosse, tells the story of Emilijan and his younger brother Stanko, tied by a childhood secret which forced them to leave their native country. The film is produced by Céline Maugis – La Vie est Belle, Christophe Delsaux – Oriflamme Films, co-produced by Paris Brest Productions, with the support of the Breizh Film Fund, the endowment fund created by Le Groupe Ouest.

Synopsis

Emilijan and his younger brother Stanko are bound by a secret that forced them to leave their country. Today, Emilijan is perfectly integrated into life in France. He works in Brest’s port town and has a relationship with Gabrielle. On the contrary, Stanko lives in the past and hopes to return to his hometown. Everything changes between the two brothers when Emilijan decides to stay in France.
