La Dame de Saint-Lunaire

Agathe Oléron took part in Groupe Ouest Développement Dramaturgy & Documentary workshop for the writing of this film, “La Dame de Saint-Lunaire”. A workshop organised in partnership with Ty Films (Mellionnec – Center Brittany).

Synopsis

This is the story of a woman who lived in Saint-Lunaire between 1950 and 1991, and who, for 40 years, built her house out of bits and pieces just like the facteur Cheval. The film tells what people say about her and her creation. Some call her “the mad woman of St Lunaire”, others, the Lady of Saint-Lunaire, Madame Devidal, Jeanne, Aunt Jeanne, Taja, Poor Little Mother, Madame Cageot… The mystery of Jeanne remains…
