The Shadow of Crows

“L’Ombre des corbeaux” by Elvira Barboza is produced by Les 48e Rugissants from Brest and was followed by the Rennes-based studios, Vivement Lundi ! for the production of its animated sequences. Elvira took part in Groupe Ouest Développement Court-métrage & Narration workshop for the writing of this film.

Synopsis

1986, in a village in France. Natalia, of Argentinean origin, is eleven years old when she discovers strange scars on her father’s body. From then on, the shadow of the past hangs over the daily life of the little girl, whose child’s gaze questions exile and the adult world.
