Nos âmes déracinées

Ananda Safo took part in the Dramaturgy & Documentary workshop to develop the film, “Nos âmes déracinées”. A Groupe Ouest Développement workshop, in partnership with Ty Films, organised at Mellionnec (Center Brittany).

Synopsis

In a building where temporary accommodation is provided for families seeking asylum, children come and go. Surrounded by adults facing uncertainty, the children respond in their own way, living the present moment, day to day, their imagination their only anchor. They wander, inclined to get up to mischief, to play, seeking ephemeral freedom and scream with delight, but are always be reminded of life’s adversity. As privileged observers of this pivotal moment in their lives, we navigate between childhood delights and the cruelty of our world.
