Groupe Ouest invites you to attend the preview screening of Lawrence Vallin‘s first feature film, “Little Jaffna”, on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 8:15pm, at the Even cinema in Lesneven. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director.
Little Jaffna has just won two awards at the Reims Polar Festival, and in 2024 received the Audience Award at the Red Sea Festival, and was also selected as the closing film at La Semaine de la Critique at the Venice Film Festival…
The film takes us on a colorful and rare immersion: an infiltration into the heart of Tamil gangs in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
Lawrence participated in 2018 in Groupe Ouest’s Annual Selection for the development of this film.
The film will be released in cinemas on April 30.
