L'Engloutie & Little Jaffna, awarded at 'Les Prix du Scénario'
Lawrence Valin and Louise Hémon feature film projects won the Grand Prix and Special Mention!

In 2023, among the six finalist projects for Les Prix du Scénario [ex Sopadin] are Louise Hémon’s L’ENGLOUTIE, co-written with Anaïs Tellenne, and also Lawrence Valin’s LITTLE JAFNA, co-written with Malysone Bovorasmy, Marlène Poste, Gaëlle Macé — two feature film projects which were part of Le Groupe Ouest’s Annual Selection.
The jury, chaired by Katell Quillévéré, chose among the six finalists on February 6, 2023 at the Cinéma des Cinéastes (Paris) to award the Grand Prix for LITTLE JAFNA, and the Special Mention award for L’ENGLOUTIE.
A double victory for the projects supported by Groupe Ouest. Congratulations, Lawrence! Congratulations, Louise!
