Louise Hémon rewarded by the Gan Foundation!
"L’Engloutie", the director's first fiction feature film, receives the 2023 Creation Grant.

Hearty congratulations to Louise Hémon on this great victory. This award, given each year to four first or second feature films selected based on their screenplay, recognizes the screenwriting work carried out in collaboration with Anaïs Tellenne and with the contribution of Maxence Stamatiadis.
At Groupe Ouest, we are especially proud to have supported two of the four winning projects of the 2023 Fondation Gan grant for creation as part of our Annual Selection. After “Little Jaffna” by Lawrence Valin, which we supported in 2017 and which was awarded in August 2023, it is now Louise Hémon’s turn to be honored for “L’Engloutie,” a project she developed at Groupe Ouest in 2019.
A fantastic achievement for this film, produced by Take Shelter, with filming set to begin in early 2024 and starring the talented Galatea Bellugi. Wishing the entire team a great shoot!
