Louise Hémon rewarded by the Gan Foundation!
"L’Engloutie", the director's first fiction feature film, receives the 2023 Creation Grant.

A big congratulations to Louise Hémon for this award, given annually to four first or second feature films selected based on the screenplay. It honors the writing work carried out in collaboration with Anaïs Tellenne and with the involvement of Maxence Stamatiadis.
At Le Groupe Ouest, we are particularly delighted to have supported two out of the four projects selected for the 2023 Creation Grant from the Gan Foundation as part of the Annual Selection. Following Lawrence Valin’s “Little Jaffna”, which we supported in 2017 and was awarded in August 2023, it is now Louise Hémon’s turn. She came to Le Groupe Ouest in 2019 to work on “L’Engloutie”.
This is wonderful news for the film produced by Take Shelter whose filming will start in early 2024 with the talented Galatea Bellugi in the cast. Best of luck to the entire team during the shooting!
