Maïté Sonnet

Maïté Sonnet is a scriptwriter and director.

Since graduating from CEEA in 2016, she has worked on various series (for Arte Web, France 2, Slash, Netflix…), feature films, as well as films and animation programs for young people.

At the same time, she is directing her first short film, “Massacre”, selected in some 30 festivals, in 2019. “Des jeunes filles” enterrent leur vie (selected at the Quinzaine des cinéastes in 2022), is her second short film.

She is currently working on her first feature film, “Tu feras tomber les Rois”, scheduled for shooting in 2025.
