Yacine Badday

Yacine Badday writes for film and television. He has written three films with director Chloé Mazlo, including the feature film “Skies of Lebanon” (Critics’ Week – Cannes 2020), which won an award from the Syndicat français de la Critique de Cinéma. He also co-wrote Émilie Aussel’s “L’Été l’éternité” (Special Jury Prize “Cinéastes du Présent” at the Locarno Film Festival 2021), Just Philippot’s “Acide” (Cannes Film Festival 2023 – Out of Competition) and Lawrence Valin’s “Little Jaffna”, which closed the Critics’ Week – Venice 2024.

In TV drama, he co-created with Jean-Baptiste Sépari the fantasy series project “Le Miracle” (Lagardère TV Scenarist Grant) and worked as a consultant on season 1 of Ipek Zübert’s “The Mopes” (Warner TV Germany/HBO Max).
