Karen Guillorel

Since her history studies in Paris X university, Karen Guillorel has worked in audiovisual postproduction (editing, 2D compositing and 3D VFX) and videogames industry during 10 years.

In 2009, she begins to write for television as cartoon scriptwriter (Ankama, Moving Puppet) and in 2012 she writes a feature movie entitled “Lucie’s head” in scenario workshop of La Fémis. In the same time, she’s a researcher student in ENER lab of ENSAD created by François Garnier).

Then she received a Beaumarchais SACD writing grant for a TV concept “Mon HP” and after another grant SCAM “Brouillon d’un rêve” for her digital art 3D real time creation called “E-Migrations » (videoformes IFAV prize).

She also directed three experimental short movies and a creation documentary. She took part in the Cross Channel Film Lab for the development of her script “’Nous sommes voisins”, wanting to direct her movie in 3Ds.
