Morgan Simon

Morgan Simon graduated from La Fémis and is based in Paris. His award-winning short films have been shown worldwide, including Try To Die Young (César nominee, 2016) and Ghost Pleasure (Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, 2019). His first feature film, A Taste of Ink, featured in Cannes’ L’Atelier Cinéfondation and has been awarded in numerous international film festivals. Released in 2017, A Taste of Ink has been critically acclaimed and received a nomination for the Louis-Delluc Prize for best first film. In 2022, Morgan Simon’s short films were released on DVD by JHR Films and shown at la Cinémathèque française for a retrospective. Morgan Simon wasa  jury member for the Queer Palm at the 71^st Cannes Film Festival. His second feature, Somewhere in Love, was released in 2024 and awarded the Fondation Barrière Cinema Prize. A Night in Paradise is his third feature film.
