Morgan Simon

Morgan Simon graduated from La Fémis and is based in Paris. His award-winning short films have been shown worldwide, including Try To Die Young (César nominee, 2016) and Ghost Pleasure (Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, 2019). His first feature film, A Taste of Ink, featured in Cannes’ L’Atelier Cinéfondation and has been awarded in numerous international film festivals. Released in 2017, A Taste of Ink has been critically acclaimed and received a nomination for the Louis-Delluc Prize for best first film. In 2022, Morgan Simon’s short films were released on DVD by JHR Films and shown at la Cinémathèque française for a retrospective. Morgan Simon wasa  jury member for the Queer Palm at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. His second feature, Somewhere in Love, was released in 2024 and awarded the Fondation Barrière Cinema Prize. A Night in Paradise is his third feature film.
