Théo Jourdain

Théo Jourdain est auteur, réalisateur et producteur. À partir de ses 12 ans, sa caméra ne le quitte plus des mains, même sur les photos de famille.

Naturellement, il poursuit des études de cinéma au lycée dans sa région d’origine : la Bretagne. Son premier film, FINISTÈRE, sera vainqueur de l’Urban Films Festival de Paris en 2013. Depuis, Théo a réalisé et produit des documentaires, des clips et des publicités dans le monde entier. Il a notamment collaboré avec des artistes comme Lomepal, JR ou encore Ladj Ly. En 2019, il a réalisé le court-métrage MAB AN TARZ (FILS DE L’ÉCUME), qui a été presque intégralement tourné à bord d’un bateau de pêche au large de la Bretagne. En 2021, à la demande de France TV Slash, Théo a co-réalisé la saison 1 d’une des premières séries musicales françaises, REUSSS, qui a été primée au festival Séries Mania 2022. Théo Jourdain vit à Paris et écrit en 2023 le scénario de son premier long-métrage : LE DERNIER PÊCHEUR.

Thomas, marin-pêcheur au Guilvinec, est tombé dans toutes les addictions possibles. Épuisé et détruit par la perte de la garde de son enfant, il décide de se sevrer en mer et de repartir à zéro. Mais une fois au large, la pêche ne se passe pas comme prévu. L’absence totale de poissons dans les filets du Mab an Tarz, va faire partir Thomas et l’équipage à la dérive…

Thomas (35) is living in the second largest fishing port in France. like many others, he has gone bankrupt in the fishing crisis. In order to survive, the community is now involved with illegal drug trafficking between France and england, but Thomas doesn’t want to be part of it. Not for moral reasons, but because his mother Marcelle (70), runs the trafficking ring. Cécile (35) a childhood love of Thomas, comes back into town with an order from the region to repurpose the fishing port for touristic projects. A passionate love story starts quickly between them. Cécile is newly sober in a twelve-step program. She trades in her alcohol addiction for an addiction to Thomas. Thomas holds onto her as his only hope for positive change. Thomas wants to transform his father’s fishing boat into a touristic attraction. For that, he needs money, and the only way to make money in the port is to work for his mom… But between his menacing mother, his newly sober partner, and the weight of his community, Thomas’s plan will be hard to navigate…
